A trio of teens decide to skip the Halloween dance and instead pick up their dates and head out to the caretaker’s abandoned house in the middle of a large orchard. With a creepy limo driver that probably isn’t allowed within 200 feet of their school, the six set off for a night of fun, unaware that the murderous caretaker still roams the orchards with his deadly fruitpicker er, weapon.
Independent Engineering Contractor Michael Jennings (Ben Affleck) is one of the best at what he does. What Jennings does is to take a product, adapt the technology and then deliver a new, greatly improved, classified product. To ensure security for these companies projects, Jennings has his memory wiped clean by Shorty (Paul Giamatti) for the duration of the product at the end of his tenure. After Hitler’s death and the collapse of the Third Reich, the Allied forces were faced with the problem of identifying war criminals from several countries. “If women don’t find you handsome, they should at least find you handy!” That’s the slogan of Red Green. Red is the caretaker of the Possum Lodge and a Canadian handyman that makes one think of Tim the Tool Man with the duct tape skills of Macguyver. He is accompanied by his nerdy teenage nephew, Harold, who much to the chagrin of Red, is the production manager for the show. The Red Green Show follows the exploits of the members of the Possum Lodge as they hunt, fish and scheme through life. This Canadian show lasted a whopping total of 15 seasons spanning 1991 to 2006. Seeing Woody Harrelson in Zombieland for some reason reminded me of his supporting role in Will Smith’s 7 Pounds, so it seemed like a good time to dust my Switchplanet review from about a year ago off for a Saturday edition of From the Vault.

These people include Ezra Turner (Woody Harrelson,) a blind customer service representative at a meat packing plant and Emily Posa (Rosario Dawson,) a woman with a faulty heart who runs a small printing business from her garage.
