Survival of the Dead Movie Poster and Release Dates

February 26, 2010 2 Comments

When I received an email today with the poster art for Romero’s latest Zombie movie, Survival of the Dead, I couldn’t wait to get online and share them with my fellow zombie fanatics here on the vault. I’m excited to see Magnolia giving this movie the attention and respect it deserves, unlike Diary of the Dead, which was largely ignored by it’s distributor. What better way to start off Video Vault’s Friday Night Frights with the poster and a shot from the movie? So stay tuned and keep checking back for more updates on Survival as we count down to it’s release!

looking forward to this one , thats a cool poster. Funny you mention that Diary of the dead was largely ignored by it’s distributor , i was recently thinking the same thing but about ever film Dimension extreme released , except for their on-line site none of their films got the attention it deserve ( well exept for Hell ride but thats only cuz QT was attach to it). There was some hidden gems and guilty pleasures in their roaster , if they would of paid more attention to them Dimension extreme would still exist and be a force to reckon with has new cult films releasing company in my opinion but they mess up

Am curious to know yout thoughts on the fact that it’s firstly released tru X-box live , playstation and VOD 1 month before it’s theatrical released. Me maybe am not well informed how this works , but i think it’s a dumb move , what will stop people from making copys , and why reward only the fans that have VOD , X-bx live or playstation. In my opinion the best move the film companies could do , is releasing a film in theatres and dvd (bare bone) at the same time ,and after a while to give it a proper dvd released. cuz htere technique of puting out a barebone released and a special 2 disc released at the same time bafles me
